Multi-layered, Hand-cut Collage (2021) MP4 Video

I selected an image of Monica Bellucci and edited it to make it look vintage and washed out. I used image editing software to overlap it with an image of a skull and made sure their aspect ratio and size were compatible. 

I did a digital mock-up to test out how the project would look with real materials. 

I printed the images, glued them on cardboard and cut them using a box-cutter. After a few tests, I settled on the right composition and glued the three layers of cardboard together.
